Getting started
What is So Tiny?
So Tiny is a URL shortener and link-tracking tool built for marketers and creators. You paste a long URL, So Tiny gives you a short link (sotiny.app/a/…), and every time someone clicks it we record the visit so you can see exactly what gets clicked.
Who is So Tiny for?
So Tiny is designed for marketers, content creators, and small businesses who share links across social media, email, and ads and want to know which links actually drive traffic.
How do I create a short link?
Create a free account, sign in, and paste your destination URL. So Tiny generates a short link you can copy and share anywhere, and you can manage all of your links and their stats from your dashboard.
Is So Tiny free?
Yes. The free plan lets you create up to 5 links and 1 QR code per month and shows all-time click counts for every link. You can upgrade any time you need more links, more QR codes, or deeper analytics.
What platforms is So Tiny available on?
So Tiny runs on the web at sotiny.app and as native apps for iOS and Android. Your links and analytics stay in sync across all of them.
Links, QR codes & tracking
What does So Tiny track for each link?
Every plan shows all-time click counts and unique-visitor counts for each link. Paid plans add a rolling analytics window so you can see how a link performs over time — 30 days on Starter, 365 days on Creator, and 730 days on Business.
Can I create QR codes for my links?
Yes. So Tiny can generate a QR code for any of your short links. The free plan includes 1 QR code per month, Starter includes 125 per month, and Creator and Business include unlimited QR codes.
Can I customize my short links?
Custom short links are available on the Creator and Business plans, so you can choose a memorable, branded ending instead of a random code.
Can I password-protect a link?
Yes. Password gating is available on the Creator and Business plans, so only people with the password can reach the destination.
Can I set links to expire?
Link expiration settings are available on Creator and Business, letting you choose when a short link should stop working. On the free plan, links that haven't been used are cleaned up automatically after 30 days.
Does So Tiny support UTM parameters?
UTM parameters are tags added to a URL so analytics tools can attribute traffic to a specific campaign, source, or medium. So Tiny's UTM encoding is available on the Starter plan and above.
Can I export my link data?
Yes. CSV export is available on Starter, Creator, and Business, so you can download your click data and analyze it in a spreadsheet or your own tools.

Privacy & security
Does So Tiny sell my data?
No. We don't sell your personal information. We only share data with the service providers that help us run So Tiny, such as Google Firebase. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
What information does So Tiny collect about visitors?
When someone follows one of your short links, we log the time of the visit and the visitor's IP address, and we store a hashed version of that IP so we can tell whether a visit is from a unique visitor. We use this to show you click and unique-visit counts.
What happens to my data if I delete a link or my account?
If you delete a short link, its visit history is deleted with it. If you delete your account from the Settings page, we permanently delete your account and every link you've created.
