Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details through Firebase Authentication (email and password, or Google sign-in).

Link data. We store the short links you create, including the destination URL, any notes you add, and their status and expiration settings.

Visit analytics. Each time someone follows one of your short links, we log the visit timestamp and the visitor's IP address, and we store a hashed version of that IP address so we can determine whether a visit is from a unique visitor. This lets us show you click and unique-visit counts for your links.

The sotiny.app website uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed and which features are tried. If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a country with similar consent requirements, no analytics data is collected and no analytics cookies are set unless you give consent through the banner shown on your first visit. You can give or withdraw consent at any time using the “Privacy choices” link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent stops all analytics collection and removes Google Analytics cookies from your browser. The website also honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the So Tiny service;
• Redirect visitors from your short links to their destinations;
• Generate click and visitor analytics for the links you create;
• Communicate with you about your account, such as email verification;
• Detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or security issues.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate So Tiny, such as Google Firebase, which provides authentication, database, and hosting infrastructure for the service. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

We retain your account and link data for as long as your account is active. If you delete a short link, its visit history is deleted with it. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your account and every link you've created.

You can update or delete your short links at any time from your dashboard. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page.

So Tiny is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
